Hey All!

The 3 weeks trial/ get-to-know the weapon groups period has just ended. We do hope all the juniors had fun and understand fencing way much better. Now's the time to select the weapon group you're keen to train with! :D

An email has been sent out to those who wrote down their emails on the 13th May instructing them to fill up the form. For those of you who did not receive the email, fret not, here's the link:

Please access the link and complete the form by Sunday, 16th May 2010, 1159 AM.

The management committee will begin allocating members to each weapon group on Sunday itself. So do submit your choices punctually or we'll do the deciding for you.

Hey guys

Welcome back to school! I hope that you guys had a great rest during the holidays and are back with full of energy for the new semester. Anyway, here is a quick update about the upcoming Fencing Introductory Course (FIC).

You are interested in the sport; Fencing but you have no idea what Fencing is all about. What do you do? Easy! We say, come on down to our Fencing Introductory Camp 2010 and be amazed by our very own Musketeers as they demonstrate their ability to attack and defence with speed and accuracy. This will be your chance to get your hands on the different weapons available and discover the art of fencing. So, what are you waiting for? Come and join us this Saturday, 24 April 2010 from 10 am to 2pm at the Level 1 Sports Deck near the snacks bar. Please report at the venue by 9.45am for administration purposes. Be sure to dress in your sports attire, complete with a pair of sports shoes as there will be alot of fun filled activities waiting for you. Feel free to contact Nureen, the President of NPF, at 91503473 should there be any queries about the FIC.

Hello everyone (:

School's started for a couple of weeks now, so I hope you've all settled back into the "school" mood! Haha. In any case, a few updates to take note!

NPF will be holding an upcoming event, known as NP Invites. It is a competition held for beginner fencers and we will be inviting fencers from schools & clubs in Singapore to take part. As such, we will need your help! NP Invites will be held on the 5th & 6th of December, & we would need all of you to help out in the hosting of this event. It is compulsory & CCA points under service will be awarded. More details will be released soon! (:

Another event to take note of is NP Open House '10! This event will be held in January & it'll be during school days. We would need you to help out during your free periods! It is compulsory & CCA points under service will be awarded. More details will be released soon too! (:

Monday to Wednesday
12th to 15th October
Register at Sports Complex, Deck 1 at 9.30am

Training resumes from this week onwards, yeah? Hope the exams were okay! There are a couple of changes to the training times so please take note!

Sabre:
Tues & Thurs - 4.30 to 7.30pm
Sat - 10am to 1pm

Foil:
Tues & Thurs - 3.30 to 6.30pm
Sat - 11am to 2pm

Epee:
Tues & Thurs - 6 to 9pm
Sat - 10am to 1pm
*May be subjected to changes.
